April Newsletter

Well, March came in like a lion for sure!  Thanks for all of the nice thoughts and prayers that you all did for me while I was suffering with my TMJD.  I have never been in so much pain and it really helped to have so many people be concerned and care.  You are awesome!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

We had so many students achieve goals this month! Congrats to ALL of the students that were accepted into programs, universities, and colleges. And to those that advanced into State Solo and Ensemble, All State Choirs, and were cast in leading roles in various musicals!! You are all such hard workers and so talented!  I am honored to be your teacher. There are so many of you, I don't dare to name names in the fear that I will forget someone!!  That is really awesome!

REMINDERS

*Don't forget that April payment is due by the 1st!  A LATE FEE will be added to payments received after April 5th. A lot of you have a credit for April because of my cancelling in March.  Others chose to make up the lessons.  If you have made arrangements with me, make sure you do so ASAP.

*Some of you still owe the ANNUAL MUSIC FEE that was due in March.  Please include that with your April payment.

*If you choose to pay via PayPal, please the include $2.00 processing fee.  This is a fee that PayPal charges ME.  Otherwise, you may send payment via check, direct deposit, or google wallet.  If you need information on how to use any of those, please let me know.

*MARCH 31-APRIL 6th is an OFF WEEK!  There will NOT be "normal" lessons held.  We do not need to make up these lessons.  I AM using this week as a make-up week for those that have make-ups that need to be done.  Times are going fast though, if you have one that you want to do next week, please let me know ASAP.  Otherwise, we will get it scheduled at other times in April.

POLICY CORNER

Practicing your assigned songs is a MUST for voice lessons.  The great thing is that you can practice ANYWHERE.  The tough thing is that you can't just "sing."  You MUST practice the things that we talked about during your lesson.

Don't keep singing the same way that you always sing.  Use your practice time to rehearse those things that you might struggle with. Don't just spend the time singing the song without focus. I PROMISE, you will see amazing improvements in a very short amount of time if you put this rule to use!

Don't forget to "like" our page on Facebook!  Click on the link to the right to connect to the page. You can also sign up to the right to have this automatically emailed to you!

That's it for now!!

Cindy
