About Me



Cindy has been teaching voice lessons for over 20 years!  Although she believes in, and teaches all styles and techniques of singing, her forte is Musical Theatre.  Cindy received her private training from Heidi McKay from the New Zealand Opera and who has been featured on the cover of Women’s Weekly.  Her formal training was under a Musical Theatre Scholarship at Weber State University and a Vocal Scholarship at the University of Utah.

Cindy enjoys teaching voice and loves to sing. She has experience at all levels of vocal performance, from musical theatre to competitive vocal performance. She has a special place in her heart for musical theatre playing roles such as “The Witch” in Into the Woods, “Mille” in 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, and “Julie Jordan” in Carousel. Recently, Cindy has also opened for Rita Moreno and Judy Collins in concert.

Cindy has been a musical director for theatre at various levels.  Having been the musical director for shows such as Aida, The Drowsy Chaperone, Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, The Last Five Years, and The Music Man, she has a wide range of musical theatre experience. 

Cindy thrives in the success of her students.  She finds it very rewarding to see people of all ages blossom in their talent and art.  She currently has past students participating in various levels of vocal performance ranging from pageants, concerts, community theatre, regional theatre, and professional theatre. In 2013, Cindy had TEN students audition for and participate in the Arizona All-State Jazz and Show choir, placing them among the top 40 vocal students in the state!
